In your twenties
You probably won’t give your feet much thought, but still,
there are some things you can do:

Fashion and trends are fun, of course, but don’t buy cheap shoes. You can ruin your feet easily with synthetic materials as they won’t let your feet breathe, can cause pressure and pain because the material won’t give, etc.

Protect your feet
for a night on the town

Dancing and clubbing are fun, and partying till late may not be a problem for you, but can be for your feet: Protect them for a night on the town by applying Hansaplast Anti Blister Gel or Hansaplast Pressure Stop before you slip on shoes. This will reduce friction and won’t spoil all the fun because you start getting sore spots on your feet from strappy shoes or the like.
Once a blister has formed, Hansaplast SOS Blister Plaster will save your night out.

Do you love travelling or visiting friends in different cities? Then make sure to take the new Hansaplast Pocket Pack. It is a life-saver for for feet on the go- just fill it with your favourite blister plasters to save your trip.

Remember to be just as good to your feet as to your body: Moisturise! Use a foot cream such as Hansaplast Velvet Feet to treat your feet after your daily shower. This will help keep them in good shape.

Met a cute guy and you’re afraid to take off your sneakers or shoes because you think you might have smelly feet? Hansaplast Silver Active is the perfect solution. Just spray on the anti-perspirant that will prevent sweat and odor, and you won’t have to worry.

Say good-bye
to both smelly
and cold feet!

Cold feet in bed? No problem, even if you have no-one to snuggle up to. Cold feet are a symptom common with women, no matter at what age or season, but there is a great solution: Hansaplast Warm & Care will warm them up for you, with a special formula that develops warmth and moisturises at the same time.

If you are in your thirties...
You are likely to have a very active lifestyle,
are probably busy in your job and maybe even with a family:

You most likely lead a life on the go – and are probably more concerned with your next career step than your feet. Still, you should care for them regularly now, as neglecting them might cause problems later on.
Because beauty routines for you should be fuss-free, go for products that are effective and offer simple solutions.

01

Use a daily moisturiser that reduces calluses, such as Hansaplast Velvet Feet. Feet lose moisture easily, and the soles under our feet tend to dry out when we are on our feet a lot, which is the case when you have an active lifestyle.
In the evenings, combine pampering and relaxing from a stressful day at work - treat yourself to a foot mask – simply use a generous layer of Hansaplast Soft Feeling or Hansaplast Velvet Feet.

03

Use Hansaplast Silver Active to keep your feet feeling fresh – a reliable antitranspirant is ideal for women on the go. Just spray it on before you leave the bathroom, and you will have sure protection all day long.
Dry skin on your feet should be looked after regularly, as you don’t want it to build up and cause problems later on with conditions such as cracked heels (also see: Instant help – dry and callused feet and Instant help – cracked heels). Treat yourself to a pedicure every now and then, either by a professional or in your home spa (also see: how to give yourself a great pedicure). Foot soaks are relaxing and will pamper your feet. Don’t forget to moisturise generously afterwards.

Running around a lot or going on a business trip to a city that you want to discover by foot? Protect your feet from sore spots, corns and blisters by using Hansaplast Invisible Protection Gel or Hansaplast Pressure Stop. Hansaplast SOS Blister Plaster is a life saver once you have developed a blister, so make sure to take some with you wherever you go. Ideal: the new Hansaplast Pocket Pack which comes in two sizes: filled with either five large SOS Blister Plasters or six small SOS Blister Plasters. Easy to slip into any handbag, maybe even filled with your personal mix of SOS Blister Plasters!
Don’t only fight first wrinkles appearing, but also remember your feet in your daily beauty routine:  Because the skin of the foot is much thicker than elsewhere on your body, you’ll need a product with effective moisturizing propertise. The intensive action of Hansaplast Velvet Feet is great.

If you are in your forties...
Your feet will need more attention, as sadly, feet tend to get drier with age.
Don’t give calluses a chance to build up, by taking care of your feet regularly
(also see: Instant Help: Dry and callused skin).

The ultimate treat for your feet: A foot massage

Keep calluses at bay by using a file or a pumice stone.

Treat yourself to a foot bath every now and then. This is easy to do while you watch your favourite TV show and will not only relax your feet, but also prepare them  for the removal of rough skin. (Also see our pedicure tips.)

Have professional
pedicures done regularly

Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise: Preferably in the mornings AND evenings, after your shower and before you go to bed. Depending on how dry your feet are, use either Hansaplast Velvet Feet, which is a great product with intense moisturizing propertise, or Hansaplast Repair & Care, which will deal with extremely callused skin and even cracked heels. You might want to alternate between both: Velvet Feet in the mornings, Repair and Care at night.

Don’t only think of skincare in terms of your face: Check your feet regularly for calloused areas or developing corns. The best way to prevent them is good footcare! Incorporate that and holding callouses at bay with effective products into your daily routine.

Choose your shoes wisely when you are up and about a lot, as feet won’t forgive wrong footwear as easily, and protect your feet from suffering from blisters or sore spots caused by too much friction with Hansaplast Anti Blister Gel.

If you are in your fifties +...
This is the age where your feet might show you that they haven’t forgiven all your little sins...you might suffer from corns, as well as especially dry and calloused skin. Giving them the extra care that they need now will keep you walking comfortably.

Keep callouses at bay regularly. If this dead skin is not removed it will become hard and thick and can become cracked and painful, making walking difficult. Remove them by using a file or a pumice stone.

Moisturize. Daily, preferably two times a day. The intense effective moisturizing propertise of Hansaplast Velvet Feet, which contains urea, will keep them soft and beautiful.

Dry or neglected feet might suffer from cracked heels. Use Hansaplast Repair & Care, which will deal with this problem in a no-fuss way. Used regularly, its intensive formula will repair even extremly dry, cracked skin and restore smooth and healthy skin.

Corns might appear more often now. Prevent them by wearing shoes that aren’t too tight. And take immediate action if one shows up by applying Hansaplast Corn Plasters. The integrated felt ring will offer instant pain relief and the active ingredient salicylic acid will help you to get rid of it.

Treat yourself to a professional pedicure every now and then.
