What are the benefits of using a liquid bandage?
Hansaplast Second Skin Protection Liquid Plaster Concentrate and Spray Plaster offer targeted protection for minor, superficial dry everyday wounds. Unlike traditional plasters, these liquid bandages form a flexible, water-resistant film that feels like a second skin and stays in place, even on moving body parts. This makes them ideal for hard-to-reach areas or while doing outdoor or sports activities.
Can you use liquid bandages on open wounds?
Hansaplast Second Skin Protection Spray Plaster and Liquid Plaster Concentrate can be used on minor, superficial, dry open wounds. Before application, it is important to stop the bleeding, then clean and dry the affected area, before the product can be applied.
However, the liquid bandages should not be used on deep, infected, bleeding or exudating wounds.
Is it possible to use a Wound Healing Ointment while using Hansaplast Second Skin Protection Spray Plaster / Liquid Plaster Concentrate?
Wound Healing Ointments are not to be applied when using liquid bandages such as Hansaplast Second Skin Protection Spray Plaster or Liquid Plaster Concentrate as they would compromise the film formation and performance of the plaster. Please make sure that your skin is dry and free of creams.
